Director of Talent Sales and Partnerships

We are looking for a talented Director of Talent Partnerships to join the team at Misfits Gaming Group. This individual will work strategically to source, facilitate, and broker deals with new brands across the Misfits Gaming Group creator network.

Responsibilities

  • Connect clients with the right influencers to reach the right audience and maximize client’s ROI
  • Develop, define, and execute a multi-level sales strategy for existing and new brand partners looking to partner with influencers or our portfolio of creator-led IP
  • Work with the Talent department to identify influencers on the MGG roster who would be a good fit for potential brand partnerships
  • Identify market opportunities and areas for growth and improvement to share internally with leadership
  • Demonstrate effective and consistent collaboration, including soliciting and implementing feedback and building interdepartmental relationships
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with creators, including proactively building growth plans, coordinating product feedback, and serving as an internal advocate for our partners
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on moving trends in the creator/influencer market and demonstrate a strong ability to clearly and effectively articulate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • A self-starter who has a proven ability to negotiate and close large, complex advertising partnerships
  • A consistent overachiever and able to demonstrate significant increases in revenue in previous roles
  • You bring with you a strong set of relationships across recognized global brands and agencies at senior and C-level positions where you have a proven track record of six and seven-figure revenue campaigns
  • Experience in a senior sales position in a sports,  entertainment, or media industry
  • A strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem is preferred
  • Experience working with brands to negotiate content creator / Influencer deals and/or branded content deals
  • You are proactive and do not wait for things to happen
  • You are a natural presenter and articulate your vision strongly
  • You are a positive problem solver and always look for ‘’how you can’’ rather than ‘’why we can’t’’

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of digital advertising sales experience, 2+ years in talent sales advantageous
  • Experience selling to major global brands and agencies
  • A strong network of direct brand relationships
  • Sales experience in the creator economy/influencer and content marketing space
  • Experience with the advertising landscape and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and digital media sales
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
