The Director of Community Management will be responsible for overseeing the community development of various clients of Fan Dynamics (a community data tool) across various industries including, but not limited to, Game Developers, Music Labels, and Consumer Brands.

Reporting to the President of FanDynamics, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of community dynamics, content strategy, moderation and policy making for niche digital communities, and be able to present all of this expertise to client stakeholders. They must be process driven, and understand how to build and foster authentic community engagement. This candidate will have a deep understanding of emerging platforms, how to work with analytics and insights and have their finger on the pulse of the best practices and trends in-community development.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to share insights and best practices from the communities you are working in.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with FanDX clients.
  • Work in lockstep with the analytics department  in the management of success metrics, internal tracking documents, weekly updates and program recaps, as well as the distribution of regular reporting to the client.
  • Work with the creative team to develop strategies,  presentations and content ideas for our FanDX clients.
  • Work with sales to help develop and document the FanDX offering for a potential client including leading or supporting ideation and suggestions around partnerships, marketing plans, integrations, packaging, and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal department leaders to improve the company’s quality of internal and client-facing sales and strategy efforts.

  • A self-driven work ethic with team-focused coordination.
  • Experience leading teams with a process-driven approach.
  • Prior experience working on game launch/marketing campaigns with influencers.
  • Experience with business analysis.
  • A drive to redefine the quality of marketing integrations in the community space.
