Misfits is jumping headfirst into game development as the company reaches new heights of interactive entertainment! As a Game Producer, you will support high-performing cross-discipline teams and ship incredible experiences at MGG. You will play an integral part in how our teams develop amazing Roblox & Minecraft games, with much more to come in the future. Reporting to the Senior Producer, you will carefully balance your efforts between game delivery, setting development teams up for success, promoting communication to stakeholders, and driving towards shipping awesome games.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Agile game development processes, ensuring projects at all stages (pre-production to live operations) are well-tracked, understood, and executed against target dates and milestones
  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, programmers, and all other disciplines to create a shared vision and development roadmap for each project
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels between all stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and upper management, to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Unblock team members and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to meet their objectives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating sprint reviews and retrospectives and implementing best practices and lessons learned into future projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in agile game production, with a proven track record of successfully shipping and operating games
  • Strong project management, planning, and execution skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and disciplines
  • Experience facilitating cross-discipline teams, including remote and outsourced team members
  • Proficiency in project management tools, like Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Perforce, or equivalent
  • Experience in live operations of a released game
  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Experience building Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, or other UGC-based games a plus
  • Secondary skill set or focus in art, qa, product management or engineering a plus
  • A deep passion for gaming and a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
