Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Team Liquid's overall brand and business objectives.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and track their effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and technologies to ensure Team Liquid remains at the forefront of social media innovation.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch.
  • Collaborate with the content team, graphic designers, and video producers to develop captivating visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and voice across all social media channels.

Audience Engagement and Community Building:

  • Foster a sense of community among Team Liquid fans and followers by actively engaging with them through comments, replies, and interactions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain our social media audience, including targeting new demographics and expanding our global reach.
  • Monitor social media conversations and trends to identify opportunities for proactive engagement and real-time responses.

Influencer and Partnership Collaboration:

  • Identify and collaborate with key influencers, esports players, content creators, and partners to amplify Team Liquid's presence and reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and partners to ensure successful collaborations that align with Team Liquid's values and goals.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyze social media performance data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing future social media initiatives.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead a team of social media managers and coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Proven track record of experience (5+ years) in social media management, in gaming, or entertainment industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive fan engagement, fan growth, and brand awareness.
  • Strong understanding of esports culture, gaming trends, and the online community landscape.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of social media professionals.
  • Familiarity with popular esports titles, players, and industry events.
