Tribe Gaming is seeking a Director of Business Operations who will work as an extension of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role will be responsible for leading a variety of work streams and other day-to-day operational items while working with the COO in leading strategic planning processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify and oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution.
- Help develop and implement the company's overall strategic plan, including short-term and long-term goals, in alignment with the Company’s vision and mission.
- Evaluate market positioning, competitive landscape, and company needs to develop innovative strategies that differentiate Tribe from its competitors.
- Proactively identify, implement, and support opportunities for process improvement across the organization by defining and executing efforts, usually in the context of broader guidance and oversight.
- Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure accountability.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption to improve operational workflows and scalability.
- Oversee execution across teams, and support team culture and organizational development.
- Collaborate with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies.
- Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork.
- Plan, coordinate and maintain contents of key departmental and leadership meetings focused.
- Determine key performance indicators and how to measure team performance.
- Provide tactical support to implement ideas.
- Work with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals.
- Identify and help to solve core problems or opportunities within business processes.
- Provide an assessment of risk when business decisions are made.
- Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives.
- Identify and provide recommendations on improvements across the organization.

- 5+ years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration, planning, management, strategy or similar field
- Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions
- Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
